Some Ways we should all Respond as Christ-followers

Trust God - Anxiety and worry do nothing good. Pray.
“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Act Faithfully, not Fearfully - We should not over-react nor should we under-react.
“for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Respect Authority – Respect the advice, counsel, and wisdom of the experts and authorities.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Romans 13:1

Stay Informed – Keep up with this situation. Make sure to connect to us on Facebook and Instagram.
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But a wise man is he who listens to counsel. Proverbs 12:15
The Center for Disease Control has many great resources CDC on COVID-19

Other First - If you, or those you are in contact with, have symptoms – stay home unless seeking medical attention.   If someone you know becomes infected, meet their physical needs without physical contact. We should also all practice good personal hygiene as to prevent not only ourselves, but others from potential infection.
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Philippians 2:3

Some Ways Fellowship is Responding Corporately

The Old Testament Law had a lot of laws and rules about disease and sickness. God in his wisdom and loving-kindness towards people gave them rules that protected them from illnesses they could not see nor name. Taking precaution is not panicking; it is protecting. We will not spread fear, but we also believe we should do our best to not spread this virus, therefore here are a few precautions we are taking.

Some ministry leaders are sending out emails concerning these issues to volunteers in the next 24 hours, but I wanted to provide a public sharing of this information.

Out of respect to our state leaders and the mandate of no gatherings 250+-  we will plan to do LIVE STREAM services only on Sunday.

We will have a place for you to give online at or text to tithe at (225) 224-7817.

Church Care

If you learn of anyone in our church infected, please let us know as soon as you can by calling the office at 225-673-4735. As a church, we will do our best to meet every need we can while respecting the recommendations concerning quarantine. We want to provide some specific encouragement and care for those who need it.

Please contact Pastor Brian at if you have this issue and do not receive an email within the next 24 hours.
